Tell us your story and career journey that led to your current role.
I have been working with software development for the last 21 years and built my career focusing on collaboration, teamwork and customer needs. For the last 10 years I’ve decided to focus my efforts to become a servant leader and it has been a really nice journey. Before Experian, I spent 9 years at B3 (Brazilian Stock Exchange), 3 years at Johnson Controls and 3 years at Capgemini.
What is the most exciting part of your role?
I’m passionate about technology and people so everything related to them is exciting to me. Building new platforms, building teams, creating a collaborative environment, helping people grow their careers, working with people from different countries, learning new cultures, solve problems. All this makes me get out of bed every day happy and motivated.
What makes Experian stand out from other tech companies?
Besides being one of the most high-tech companies in the world, Experian also has a wonderful team. You can interact with experts from different countries and cultures and this mix of different point of views and experiences creates a fantastic environment.
What career advice would you give to your younger self?
Talk to people as much as you can. Learn. Teach. Don’t be afraid of failing. Don’t judge. Help. Ask help. No matter what happens, in the end, it’s all about people.
