What projects are you working on?
I’m the lead architect on a human-centered platform redesign leveraging React. We’re rebuilding our user experience using dynamic and real-time widgets, on an application platform hosting hundreds of partner portals. We’re using automated end-to-end testing to avoid regressions and catch unintended changes.
What is the most significant part of your job?
Coordinating efforts across four teams to achieve a unified, consistent result. This includes decisions and discussions regarding product direction, technical implementation, automation, and validation.
What attracted you to Experian?
I want to work somewhere where my work makes a material and positive difference in the world. Experian has a global scale and a commitment to helping people understand and leverage credit to change improve their lives. I also get to work with the funniest, smartest, most supportive people around.
What advice do you have for those entering the tech industry?
Talk to people who know more than you. Ask them for advice and guidance. A quick conversation can save hours, months, years of effort.
